What we collect through this website, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed.

Who we are

Optiflux Technologies Private Limited ("Optiflux", "we") operates www.optiflux.in. Our registered office is #677, 1st Floor, 27th Main, HSR Layout, Bangalore 560102, Karnataka, India. For anything in this policy, write to admin@optiflux.in.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into the consultation form:

  • Name: required, so we know who we are replying to
  • Work email: required, and the address we reply to
  • Mobile number: optional, used only if you ask us to call
  • Company: optional, to understand the context of the enquiry
  • Your message: whatever you choose to tell us

We do not ask for, and the form cannot accept, payment details, government identifiers, or any special-category data. Please do not include confidential information in an initial enquiry.

Server logs

Our web server records standard request logs: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, and browser user-agent. These exist to operate and secure the service, including rate limiting to prevent abuse of the enquiry form and admin login. They are not linked to enquiry records.

Why we can use it

We process enquiry data to respond to a request you initiated, and because we have a legitimate interest in answering prospective clients. Where consent applies, and advertising cookies in particular, we rely on your consent and you may withdraw it at any time.

Who else sees it

Enquiry data is stored on our own hosting infrastructure and is read by Optiflux staff. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Three third parties are involved in running the site:

  • Our hosting provider, which operates the servers and database where enquiries are stored
  • Google, through Google Tag Manager and Google Ads (see the Cookie Policy)
  • Yandex, through Yandex.Metrika, which measures site usage and records sessions (see the Cookie Policy)
  • Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces; your browser's request to it reveals your IP address

If you have configured email notifications with us, a copy of your enquiry is also delivered to our mailbox by our email provider.

Session recording

Yandex.Metrika is configured with Webvisor, which records how visitors move through the site: mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and the content of the pages viewed. These recordings sit with Yandex, not with us.

This does not apply to the admin area, which is excluded from the counter. If you would prefer not to be recorded at all, the Cookie Policy explains how to opt out.

Where it is stored

Enquiry data is stored in India. Google services process data in the United States and other countries. Yandex.Metrika data, including session recordings, is processed by Yandex on its own infrastructure outside India. Those transfers are governed by each provider's terms and safeguards, not ours.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained until they are no longer needed for the conversation they belong to, and are then deleted from our admin panel. We do not currently run an automatic purge, so if you want your enquiry removed sooner, ask and we will delete it.

How it is protected

The site is served over HTTPS. The admin panel is protected by a password and a signed, expiring session, and administrative actions are rate-limited. Uploaded images are validated by file signature and served with a restrictive content policy. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to admin@optiflux.in and we will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Grievances

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may raise a grievance with our designated contact at admin@optiflux.in, marked for the attention of the Grievance Officer.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it.
